Launched during the global pandemic, Wormhole is a four-piece heavy metal band based in Belfast, Maine. Inspired by thrash/punk/death/grind/grunge/psychedelic, Wormhole plays hard-hitting originals and covers of heavy classics, from Metallica and Slayer to Pantera and Tool. Taking inspiration from Black Sabbath, Gojira, and everything in between, Wormhole brings the meaty riffs, hellacious harmonies, scintillating solos, dominating drums, and soaring and roaring vocals that Midcoast Maine metalheads have been jonesing for.
Wormhole features Midcoast and Down East locals Teddy Mattson (guitar, vox), Mattie John Bamman (guitar, vox), and Trevor Huff (drums, vox), with Alex Evans (bass, vox) of Alabama.
